More Photoshop work tools
Once again I have looked at using different tools on Photoshop, this time i have changed the colours of certain areas of pictures.
This process was changing parts of the picture black and white
Instructions:
- Get a picture you want and once up go on to ‘layer’ chose ‘new adjustment layer’ and then pic ‘black and white…’
- A window labeled new layer will appear, type what name you want it to be and press ok, another box will turn up make the adjustments you want and press ok again. This will automatically turn your illustration black and white.
- Make sure the paint is black, and then click on your paintbrush, put your paint brush on to the pieces you want to make the normal colour again, such as hair or the outfit, and it will straightaway turn the bits you want to be the normal colour normal again.
I tried and tested this method, I found it easy to do, once I got the hang of it. I liked having the option to change certain parts of the picture without having to paint or just fill it. I think this makes it a lot more interesting and makes the illustraion you may be using a lot more interesting to look at. I would definately used this method again when maybe wanting to make a picture stand out or look a bit different.
